Many conflicts of using torture is the fact that if we really gain anything from it. In this article it states that we use long term standing, slapping, yelling and waterboarding to torture our terrorist. But when asked what intelligence we have gotten from the terrorist they said we had very little if any.

WHIP - NATO and EU talk in Libya

With Libya in turmoil right now and the pentagon preparing a full range of military options (including no fly zone) for Libya. NATO's plans are going be discussed at a meeting in Brussels. Italy said that it will back up any decisions NATO EU or Unites Nations make, which can be a critical part in this battle. In a battle in Zawiyah a doctor even stated that more than 40 people have died women men and children.

Teacher Unions are one of the most dominate political forces in America. They protect teachers for getting wrongfully fired. But is it really good teachers or the bad ones who are being protected. Bad teachers basically don't have to worry about being fired by how much protection they get. For a princible to fire a teacher it takes Two Years, Two Hundred Thousand Dollars and 15% of a princibles time! Which is another reason why its hard for a teacher to be fired

Girl Struck and Killed by a Train on Magnolia

Today around 5:00p a girl was hit by a train while crossing the tracks. They dont know who the girl is yet but they think shes either from La Sierra High School or Norte Vista High School.

Health Care Discussion

I found out alot about health care over the past few weeks, and what i learned kind of shocked me. USA Spends way more money on Health Care yet it seems as if other countries have it better for lesser prices.
I feel like we should cut money from things that are not a priority right now. Like i remember talking about how Prisoners can get there High School Diploma and have a whole bunch of other things like get there teeth fixed and along those lines.
